KLM says e-cigarettes, including e-cigars, e-pipes and other personal vaporizers containing batteries, must be completely switched off and carried on your person at all times; they are not permitted in your baggage. To prevent accidental activation each device must be protected individually, and recharging the device on board is prohibited. KLM advises checking the local laws at your destination, which may be stricter.
